ABSTRACT : English Module for Students of Maintenance General Mechanics at SENA-Huila is the result of a diagnosis obtained from surveys administered to students, technicians, and the English teacher who belonged to the field of Maintenance General Mechanics at SENA and factories. Based on the data collected an further analyzed, we determined the objective for our project, The surveys also helped us regard other important aspects which are the basis of our proposal. Such a proposal regards also the needs analysis, the curricula subjects, the approach to use, the emphasis of each of the language skills and the situations they use each one. After eliciting the final and definite purpose our proposal is aimed at, we started being given information about what each subjecty of the student's curricula is about,it was followed by the material compilation stage The last one was possible by the assistance of our SENA advisor, who helped us in choosing them from catalogue manuals, real life situations and so on. Once it was done, we established the course objectives, contents and exercises taking into account its degree of complexity and extent organizing them into units. As a result, this material becomes the earliest attempt in Huila which involves the communicative approach and the integration of the four skills in he unexplored field of Maintenance General Mechanics.
