Summary: Macbeth tells a story of crime and punishment laced with witchcraft and supernatural elements. Protected by the deceptive prophecies of the Fateful Sisters, witches or goddesses of fate, Macbeth decides to assassinate his king and take the crown. Aware of the horror to which he surrenders, he forges his terrible destiny and allows himself to be possessed by the evil that is born of the desire for power, believing himself to be invincible and eternal. This dark and haunting work, with fast-paced action, is also deeply introspective. Through a metaphorical and sensory language, the work delves into the forbidden, explores transgression and offers the unique opportunity to share the inner life of a murderer, with its horror and mystery.
